Inspired by this page in the newest Pottery Barn Kids, I decided to make some of these embroidery hoops with cute embroidery and felt on them. I had so much fun making them.

I sewed this doll before Char was born out of vintage handkerchiefs. I needed something to do while Chris was away on business, so I decided to sew.

Hand embroidered leaves and stems.

These are some cute stuffed animals. The bear I found at a thrift store and it is knitted. So cute. The two on the right I got at Old Navy. (Note: These two toys have recently had a recall on them, but since Char isn't playing with them, I decided to keep them anyway, because they were so cute. So no worries.)

Above Char's crib are three wooden frames from IKEA that I painted and put a cute patterned paper on the inside. The curtains I hand embroidered.
Here is another project I recently took on. Something had to be done about that horrible vinyl sticker with ugly type! Here are the before pictures.

Thrift Store find for only $6.99. Paint about $6. And the finished product...

Cute Princess character plates and tea set. Also a thrift store find for only $1.99!

Char enjoying the idea of being able to color all over the table. Her favorite thing is to have us write the letter "C". The green chair I also found at the Thrift Store for $4. Did I mention that it is a Pottery Barn chair, brand new, in pristine condition! What a deal!
What do you think? Do you have any fun ideas for decorating your child's bedroom that you would like to share?

What a cute bedroom! The embroidery hoops are beautiful and I really like how you fixed up the table. The talent, the talent!
I love the hoops and the chalkboard table and your hand embroidery. Char is lucky to have such a talented and hard-working mommy.
